Elucidation of the structure of FF from the edible perennial brown alga Eisenia bicyclis (a). Effect of FF on LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 macrophages (b). The cells were grown at a density of 1 × 105 cells/well and treated with different concentrations of FF for 1 h before incubation with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 24 h. Each value was expressed as the mean ± SD of triplicate experiments. , , and as compared with LPS-treated cells (1 μg/mL). as compared with LPS nontreated cells.
