Supplementary Material

The calibration curve and number of replicate and error bar were shown in supplementary material. Also, it can be seen from Table S1 that the adsorption mechanism of this composite material is due to the ion exchange of zeolite 13X, the role of activated carbon is a little. The mapping analysis also proved that ammoniacal nitrogen adsorption was on the center of the zeolite, not the surface of AC. There is no difference before and after adsorption by FTIR characterization. The method is accurate for real sample. And the result of ammoniacal nitrogen removal of real wastewater on X/AC composite is shown in Table S2.
