Parallelism of Chemicostructural Properties between Filgrastim Originator and Three of Its Biosimilar Drugs

Effects of filgrastim (std ctrl), Granulokine® (GRA), Tevagrastim® (TEV), Nivestim™ (NIV), and Zarzio® (ZAR) injection in the otic cavity of 48 hpf zebrafish embryos. Negative controls (neg ctrl) were injected with 0.05% phenol red solution without the pharmaceutical compounds. Positive controls (pos ctrl) are injected with E. coli JM109 bacteria. Early zebrafish myeloid progenitors, monocytes/macrophages, and granulocytes neutrophils quantification were performed by whole mount in situ hybridization with (a) pu1 probe, (b) lplastin probe, and (c) mpx probe. The amount of the three leukocyte populations is shown as a percentage of area marked by the corresponding probe. Data are the mean ± SD of 3 experiments.
