Advances in Methods for Networked and Cyber-Physical System
Description
Networked and cyber-physical system (NCPS) represents a system which tightly integrates computation, communication, and physical processes. Typical NCPS is open, dynamic, and heterogeneous in many dimensions and often needs to be rapidly instantiated and deployed for a given mission. NCPS can be found in areas as diverse as aerospace, automotive, chemical processes, flexible manufacturing systems, medical systems, unmanned vehicles, and traffic control. Despite its high complexity, NCPS has many challenges both in theory and applications. The main focus of this special issue is on the most recent theoretical developments, results, and applications in the area of methods for NCPS. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Robotics
- Visual servoing control
- Machine learning
- Embedded systems
- Microsystem/nanosystem
- Multiagent systems
- Neural network
- Wireless sensor network
- Real-time intelligent and adaptive control
- Dynamics and computational algorithms
- Artificial Intelligence
- Fault detection and diagnosis
- Fault tolerant control
- Multisensor data fusion and filtering
- Information Technology
- Supply chain network
- Logistics network
- Security protocols in network
- Fussy logic
- Fault detection/correction
- Network systems/ protocols
- Other NCPS-related areas
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/jcse/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/jcse/ncps/ according to the following timetable:
