IL-24 nanotherapy for ovarian cancer. MDAH2774 () cells were injected into the peritoneal cavity of nude mice. Mice were then divided into groups and treated with IL-24-containing nanocarrier intraperitoneally (i.p.). Mice that were treated with phosphate buffered saline (PBS), treated with adenovirus (Ad)-IL-24, or treated with Ad-luciferase (Luc) served as controls. An increase in animal survival was observed in mice that received IL-24-containing nanotherapy compared to all other treatment groups.
