Urinary nephrin (a) and type IV collagen (b) were measured on spot urine samples obtained at the end of 12 weeks of treatment. The results are shown as μg/mg creatinine (mean ± SEM). when the vehicle-treated diabetic animals are compared to the diabetic animals treated with the anti-C-loop antibody. when the control nondiabetic animals are compared to the vehicle-treated diabetic animals.
