Determination of cell cycle with flow cytometry. After the treatment for 7 days, cells were collected for the detection of cell cycle according to the standard protocol. The distribution of cells in the different cell cycle phases was analyzed using Multicycle software. Data were expressed as of three determinations. Control, normal glucose; CHG, constant high glucose; IHG, intermittent high glucose. , and respectively, indicate a significant difference from controls and CHG.
