The effect of immunosuppressant drugs on protein release of IL-8 and IL-6 in human islets. Human islets cultured without or with tacrolimus (TAC 30 µg/L), sirolimus (SRL 30 µg/L), or a combination thereof for 24 hours. Protein levels of (a) IL-8 and (b) IL-6 in human islets were investigated in cell lysate using multiplex bead-based cytokine assay (Bio-Plex Human Cytokine Group 1).
