Altered Methylation Profile of Lymphocytes Is Concordant with Perturbation of Lipids Metabolism and Inflammatory Response in Obesity

Anthropometric and metabolic characteristics in the lean group of animals (, grey columns and line) and in the obese group of animals (, open columns and a black line). The animals were weighted before slaughter (a), and after slaughter the weight of the retroperitoneal fat (b), omental fat (c), and mesenteric fat (d) was measured. Triglycerides (TG), high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C) were measured from plasma collected after an overnight fast (e).
