Effects of TIPE2 on cytokine secretion by THP-1 cells. The concentrations TNF-α and IL-6 in the culture supernatant from differentiated THP-1 cells were determined by ELISA. Under high glucose conditions (50 mmol/L), siTIPE2 infection exacerbated the increased TNF-α and IL-6 concentrations (a, c), while Ad-TIPE2 infection reversed the increased TNF-α concentration and had no obvious effect on the increased IL-6 release in differentiated THP-1 cells (b, d). versus 25 mmol/L glucose alone. ^# versus 50 mmol/L glucose + siTIPE2. ^## versus 50 mmol/L glucose + Ad-TIPE2.
