High Glucose with Insulin Induces Cell Cycle Progression and Activation of Oncogenic Signaling of Bladder Epithelial Cells Cotreated with Metformin and Pioglitazone

The activity of cyclin-Cdk complexes, which promote cell cycle progression in HBlEpC-treated diabetic drugs under high glucose or high glucose with insulin. The cells ( cells/mL) treated with metformin (M) or pioglitazone (P) and cotreated with both drugs were cultured with bladder epithelial cell medium containing low glucose or high glucose or high glucose with insulin in six-well plates. At days 3 and 7, the cells were harvested and then immunoblotting for cyclin D, cyclin E, and Cdk2/4 was carried out. Results are representative of three independent experiments.
