Comparisons of body weight in all groups of tree shrews before and after modeling/treatment. As shown in Figure 1, tree shrews were modeled for type 2 diabetes with STZ injection, and their hyperglycemia state maintained for another 4 weeks. Then, some of the DM tree shrews were subjected to photochemically induced cortical thrombotic cerebral ischemia and subsequent ischemic postconditioning. At 24 hours after ischemic PC, the relevant parameters were evaluated. for each group; and , between the indicated groups.
