CpG Oligodeoxynucleotides Enhance the Efficacy of Adoptive Cell Transfer Using Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes by Modifying the Th1 Polarization and Local Infiltration of Th17 Cells

CpG-ODNs enhanced the IFN- production of CD4+ T cells and CD8+ T cells. TILs were collected from lung cancer patients ( ) and treated with CpG-ODNs or control CpG-ODNs as described in Materials and Methods. autologous TILs were transferred into the tumor bearing Balb/c nude mice with 100 ug CpG-ODNs or control CpG-ODNs through tail vein. Ten days later, CD4+ T cells and CD8+ T cells were isolated from tumor mass and their production of IFN- (a and c) and IL-4 (b and d) was detected by intracellular staining. .
