T. cruzi strains do not alter DC viability. Murine bone marrow-derived DCs were incubated for 18 h with no stimulation (medium), LPS (100 ng/mL), or different T. cruzi strains (MOI 3 : 1), and viable cells were identified by a lack of annexin V or PI staining.
