Intervention to ERS can partly rescue the apoptosis of BM-MSCs from SLE patients. BM-MSCs of SLE patients and normal controls were treated with (+) or without (−) 4-PBA (100 μM) from the same time point for the indicated time. (a) Cell viability was assessed by FCM analysis. (b) Cell lysates were analyzed for the levels of p-IRE-1, p-PERK, BAX, Bcl-2 and cleaved caspase-3 via western blot.
