Effect of peppermint LHAE on peritoneal macrophage viability and phagocytosis. Cell viability (a), number of cells containing beads (b), and number of beads per cell (c) were quantified on peritoneal macrophages pretreated with peppermint LHAE (1–300 μg/ml, in 1% DMSO in PBS) and stimulated with LPS for 24 h.
