Ethyl Caffeate Ameliorates Collagen-Induced Arthritis by Suppressing Th1 Immune Response

ECF inhibits Th1 cell differentiation. Naive CD4 T cells (4 × 10⁵) in 24-well plates precoated with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 were cultured in RPMI containing 10% FCS and polarizing cytokines at various concentrations of ECF. The differentiated cells were harvested after 3 days and were restimulated for 4 h with PMA and ionomycin in the presence or absence of Brefeldin A for flow cytometry. Data were analyzed by FlowJo software.
