The Solute Carrier Transporter SLC15A3 Participates in Antiviral Innate Immune Responses against Herpes Simplex Virus-1

Figure 4

SLC15A3 enhances HSV-1-mediated IL29 and IFNβ induction. (a) qRT-PCR analysis of IFNβ and IL29 in 293T transfected with empty vector and SLC15A3-GFP plasmids for 16 h and then incubated with HSV-1 at indicated MOI of HSV-1 for 24 h. (b) ELISA detection of IFNβ and IL29 in cell culture supernatants collected from 293T transfected with empty vector and SLC15A3-GFP plasmids followed by HSV-1 incubation. (c) qRT-PCR analysis of IFNβ and IL29 in 293T transfected with scrambled and SLC15A3 siRNA for 24 h and then incubated with HSV-1 at indicated MOI of HSV-1 for 24 h. (d) ELISA detection of IFNβ and IL29 in cell culture supernatants collected from 293T transfected with scrambled and SLC15A3 siRNA for 24 h and then incubated with HSV-1 at indicated MOI of HSV-1 for 24 h. , (unpaired -test). Data (mean ± sd) are representative of three experiments with similar results.
