Strength Training Session Induces Important Changes on Physiological, Immunological, and Inflammatory Biomarkers

The strength training exercise protocol alters the number of subpopulation in the white blood cells (leukocytes). The red lines mean the reference value. The single session of exercise was able to elevate the number of white blood cells immediately and 2 hours in UTG and TG (Figure 2(a)). The number of neutrophils was elevated differently in both groups (Figure 2(b)). The number of lymphocytes increased immediately after in both groups and then reduced at 2 h (Figure 2(c)).
