The plasma level of lactate was positively correlated with the increase in the number of leukocytes. There was a relationship between the plasma lactate level and the number of total leukocytes (Figure 3(a)), neutrophils (Figure 3(b)), and monocytes (Figure 3(c)) immediately after exercise. This relationship is still maintained with leukocytes (Figure 3(e)) and neutrophils (Figure 3(f)) 2 hours after the end of the session. Statistical significance.
