CVD: cardiovascular disease; OR: odds ratio; 95% CI: 95% confidence interval. aCluster 1 is the same as telomeric cluster. We adjusted for age, sex, and family history of comorbid condition. For hypertension and CVD, we also adjusted for smoking and alcohol use. We applied Bonferroni correction, and thus, values of <0.004 were considered significant.
