ITO/Poly(Aniline)/Sol-Gel Glass: An Optically Transparent, pH-Responsive Substrate for Supported Lipid Bilayers

Potential of an ITO/PANI/sol-gel electrode coated with a PSLB. The coated electrode was equilibrated overnight at pH 8. Ten minutes after initiating periodic measurements of the electrode potential, the pH of the buffer in contact with the PSLB was reduced to 6.18. The PSLB was physically disrupted at minutes by introducing air bubbles in contact with the PSLB.
