The effect of DMSO on the growth of Candida albicans and Candida krusei. Miconazole was used at a concentration of 50 μg/mL as a positive control, while media only were used as the negative control. The percentage growth inhibition at 5% DMSO is shown on the graph. At all tested concentrations of DMSO, the extract encouraged growth of the C. krusei cells. Growth of cells was compared to the growth at 0% DMSO. ; . .
