Schematic diagram of an application of aptamer in capturing and releasing tumor cells. Sequence immobilized on the surface of the hydrogel forms a duplex with an aptamer sequence. Cleavage of the restriction sites on the aptamer (sequence B) and the immobilized sequence (sequence A) releases the target cells. Endonuclease cleaves the phosphodiester bond within the aptamer, resulting in the loss of its anchoring to the target cells. Subsequently, the target cells are dissociated from the aptamer and released [72].
