Supplementary Material

The Supporting Materials include the measurement of iron and cobalt concentrations [Fe] and [Co] in the prepared CoFe2O4 nanoparticles, using an external standard method combining colorimetry and relaxivity. Size measurements of CoFe2O4 sample by photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS) are shown, along with the infrared (IR) spectra and transmission and backscattering profiles to prove the stability of obtained colloids. In addition, a scheme of the assumed nucleation-growth model is presented to explain the mechanism of size tuning in our article.
