Delivery Efficiency of miR-21i-CPP-SWCNT and Its Inhibitory Effect on Fibrosis of the Renal Mesangial Cells

Schematic illustration of the facile synthesis of miR-21i-CPP-SWCNT hybrid and the influence of miR-21i-CPP-SWCNT hybrids on renal mesangial cells (RMCs). The miR-21i and CPP firstly bind together via electrostatic forces, subsequently miR-21i-CPP binds to the surface of SWCNT via hydrophobic forces. The miR-21is released from the miR-21i-CPP-SWCNT hybrids would inhibit the fibrosis of RMCs. FAM: 5-carboxyfluorescein.
