SPR Biosensing MUA/Poly-L-lysine Platform for the Detection of 2,4-Dinitrophenol as Small Molecule Model System

Figure 3

Sensorgrams showing the SPR signal resulting from the injection of anti-DNP solution over (a) Au-MUA-PLL, (b) Au-MUA, and (c) Au-MUA/DTT surfaces. Antibody solution was injected during ten minutes followed by running buffer injection. In Au-MUA-PLL, the baseline is fully recovered (~800 s) after the passage of the antibody verifying the absence of nonspecific antibody binding to the sensor chip. In Au-MUA and Au-MUA/DTT, the SPR signal does not return to the baseline after the injection of the antibody solution, evidencing the presence of nonspecific antibody binding to the surfaces.
