Each cycle included a ten-minute injection of the SLN solution followed by a washing step with running buffer (PBS pH 7.4). SPR response arising from the interaction of chitosan-coated SLN and the control surface corresponds to the stabilization of the signal after the end of the SLN injection (at around 1000 s).
