In vivo genotoxicity of NPL. DNA damage was assessed by the in vivo comet assay in the lung (a), stomach (b), colon (c), and liver (d), after 2 consecutive daily intranasal administrations of NPL in rats. For each group, results shown are means of medians of % tail intensity ± SD for 5 animals. MMS was used as positive control ((100 mg/kg/day) ×2). positive control vs. all NPL treatments.
