Nano- and Biomaterials for Sustainable Development

Description

With climate change and energy scarcity, the term “sustainability” has become the major challenge of the 21st century. Researches on clean and renewable energy sources are vital to break through this problem. Besides, any manners that help to reduce energy consumption, enhance energy efficiency, and minimize the use and generation of hazardous substances are considered “sustainable” as well. Journal of Nanomaterials announces a special issue that welcomes original research articles and review articles that address challenges of nano- and biomaterials for sustainable development.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Biomass or wastes as resources for energy and chemicals
  • Nanotechnologies for solar cell, fuel cell, and thermoelectric materials
  • Low power consumption devices based on nanomaterials
