Activities:

1. Students rolled a die and created numbers with decimals. There were whole numbers in front of the decimal and numbers after the decimal in the tenths, hundredths, or thousandths place. Each student needed to read the number outloud. Then, write it in word from, expanded form, and draw a model that represents it.

2. Students needed to verbally explain what each number represents, what it's worth, and the place value the number was placed in.

Activities:

1. Students were given a few alphabets and simple 2D shapes as an introduction to lines of symmetry.

2. Students were given 2D shapes and they drew the line of symmetry for each shape.

3. Students were given polygons with dotted lines through the shape. They needed to check the ones that were correct wtih a line of symmetry and an "X" through the ones that were not correct.

4. Students needed to draw all the lines of symmetry on a variety of shapes. Some shapes had only one line, others had more than one and multiple lines, and some had no lines of symmetry.

Activities:

1. Students were given an introduction lesson about what each number in a decimal represents as a fraction.

2. After a few converting decimals to fractions, students played a game called, "Who's Hiding The Donut?" Students were given decimals and they needed to covert it to a fraction. Once converted, they found the animal that represented that fraction. They "X" through those animals. The last animal that had no fraction attached to the decimal was the one who stole the donut.
