AP-2𝛼 Inhibits c-MYC Induced Oxidative Stress and Apoptosis in HaCaT Human Keratinocytes

c-MYC induced cell death in HaCaT cells was partially reversed by AP-2𝛼. Twenty-four hours after infection, 100 cells from each group were seeded and cultured under normal growth conditions for 10–14 days. Colonies with ≥ 50 cells were counted. AP-2𝛼 increased clonogenic survival in c-MYC overexpressing HaCaT cells. The surviving fractions were calculated by normalizing the number of colony of each treated group to that of the control group, respectively. Error bars stand for standard deviations, 𝑛 = 3.
