Dietary restriction reduces VEGF expression in the CT-2A astrocytoma. VEGF immunostained sections (400x). Results show that VEGF expression (brown stain) is less in the tumors of DR-fed mice than in the tumors of AL-fed mice. Black arrows indicate positive VEGF staining.
