Figure 2: Effects of thyme extracts from three different species (Thymus vulgaris, Thymus zygis, and Thymus hyemalis), on macrophage-THP-1 cell viability. Cells were treated with increasing concentrations of thyme extracts, from 0 to 25 μg/mL for 24 h. Cell viability was determined by the MTT assay. Values represent the mean ± SEM of six independent experiments. No statistic signification in 𝑃 values lower than 0.05 was found.
