Both diagrams present the results of scans inside an indoor environment. (a) A planar metallic surface (A) and (b) a corner reflector (B) have been positioned inside the scan area of the sensor. Both scans have been postprocessed with a Gaussian kernel density estimator in order to represent the probability of a detected object .
