A Molecularly Imprinted Electrochemical Gas Sensor to Sense Butylated Hydroxytoluene in Air

Molecular imprinting technology: template molecule is placed in the polymer along with functional monomers and cross-linkers. By applying voltage, polymerization starts. After the polymerization, a washing agent removes the template molecules. So cavities, which can only trap the same size and shape of the template, are left behind.
