Artificial Intelligence in Multimodal Sensors for Healthcare
Description
Artificial intelligence has been successfully implemented in many different applications. In recent years, medical and healthcare solutions have used artificial intelligence for diagnosis, prevention, rehabilitation, and so forth. For medical monitoring and healthcare measurement, multimodal sensory integration has been combined with artificial intelligence. However, there are still many significant challenges and issues: data preprocessing, consolidation, ubiquitous information, knowledge extraction, interpretability, and many others. Thus, the usage of the artificial intelligence perspective for solving these issues will lead in frontier healthcare applications.
This special issue aims to cover novel and cutting-edge technologies and methods, combined with artificial intelligence, for improving multimodal sensors applications in healthcare. The editors welcome high-quality and original research articles and reviews.
Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
- Artificial intelligence in multimodal sensors for medical applications
- Machine learning for multimodal sensory integration in healthcare
- Reasoning and ubiquitous computing for multimodal sensory integration
- Signal processing and artificial intelligence for healthcare applications
- Intelligent systems for healthcare and medical applications using sensors
- Integrated decision support from health sensors data
- IoT in precision medicine contexts
