Inhibition of TBT-induced apoptosis by caspase-9 and caspase-3 inhibitors. Western blots of 5 different proteins in Jurkat A3 parental and the two deficient cell lines are shown. Cells were treated with 1 or 1.5 μM TBT for 4 h before proteins were separated on SDS-gels and immunoblotted. Another set of samples was preincubated for 1 h with the inhibitors for caspase-3 (DEVD, 10 μM) and caspase-9 (LEHD, 30 μM) before TBT (1 μM or 1.5 μM) was added.
