Oxide Thin Film Heterostructures on Large Area, with Flexible Doping, Low Dislocation Density, and Abrupt Interfaces: Grown by Pulsed Laser Deposition

<table>OES spectra taken from PLD plumes of pure ZrO<sub>2</sub> and of ZrO<sub>2</sub> with 20% MnO<sub>2</sub> in 0.1 mbar O<sub>2</sub>. Only one additional peak from Mn I was found at 476.61 nm.  In contradiction, Mn-doped ZnO shows 10 peaks from Mn. Zirconium and hafnium show together 1497 lines in the OES data base. A strong fluorescence background is visible here.</table>
