The Absence of Nrf2 Enhances NF- B-Dependent Inflammation following Scratch Injury in Mouse Primary Cultured Astrocytes

RT-PCR analysis of mRNA level of proinflammatory cytokines and MMP9. (a) RT-PCR showed that mRNA level of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and MMP9 was elevated in astrocytes after scratch and was significantly higher in group KO TBI than in group WT TBI. (b–e) Quantitative analysis of RT-PCR results showed that relative mRNA level of proinflammatory cytokines mentioned above and MMP9 was higher in astrocytes after scratch .
