Blockade of HCs prevents upregulation of microglial gap junctional communication induced by TNF-α/IFN-γ, but not that induced by TNF-α plus ATP. Effect on the incidence of dye coupling (IDC) in EOC20 cells treated with TNF-α plus ATP for 3.5 h or TNF-α/IFN-γ for 9 h in presence of HC blockers (200 μM La³⁺, 1 : 500 Cx43^(E2) antibody, 200 μM ¹⁰Panx1).
