FSTL1 induces the expression of proinflammatory mediators in RAW264.7 macrophages. RAW264.7 macrophages were treated with increasing dose of recombinant mouse FSTL1 (0, 50, 100, and 200 ng/mL) for 24 h. mRNA expressions of IL1-𝛽 (a), IL-6 (b), TNF-𝛼 (c), and MCP-1 (d) were evaluated by quantitative RT-PCR. Relative gene expression levels were normalized to β-actin and expressed as fold of control. Data are mean ± SE; 𝑛=3. *𝑃<0.05 versus control.
