Nucleotides Regulate Secretion of the Inflammatory Chemokine CCL2 from Human Macrophages and Monocytes

Macrophages expressing 312Ser-P2Y2 secrete higher levels of CCL2 in response to UTP and LPS. Human adherent PBMCs were plated at 2.5 × 106 cells/well and cultured for 7 days. Media were replaced and cells were stimulated with media, 10 μM UTP, or 100 μg/mL LPS for 4 hours. Each symbol represents a different donor ( donors per genotype group) and each donor has a different colour.
