Auricular Electroacupuncture Reduced Inflammation-Related Epilepsy Accompanied by Altered TRPA1, pPKCα, pPKCε, and pERk1/2 Signaling Pathways in Kainic Acid-Treated Rats
TRPA1 and TRPV4 protein levels. Hippocampus lysates were immunoreacted with specific TRPA1 (a) and TRPV4 (b) antibodies. TRPA1, but not TRPV4, increased with KA injection as compared with the PBS group. TRPA1 protein levels were attenuated by electroacupuncture (EA) at EAR (auricular) as compared with the KA-induced groups. Serious results were not observed in ST36 (ST36-ST37) and sham groups.
