Gene expression of various cytokines after CVB3 infection of different murine cell types. Murine cardiac fibroblasts, murine cardiomyocytes (HL-1 cell line), and murine macrophages (RAW cell line) were infected with 0.5 MIO of CVB3. Gene expression of various cytokines was assessed 6 and 24 hours after CVB3 infection. To compare the absolute gene expression between the different cell types gene expression is plotted as mean ± SEM as x-fold to the house keeping gene CDKN1b.
