Chitosan Oligosaccharides Attenuate Ocular Inflammation in Rats with Experimental Autoimmune Anterior Uveitis

Figure 5

Quantification of the levels of (a) TNF-α, (b) iNOS, (c) MCP-1, (d) RANTES, and (e) fractalkine at days 10, 14, 17, and 20 in the AqH. Decreased expression levels of TNF-α, iNOS, MCP-1, RANTES, and fractalkine were observed in the low-dose or high-dose COS groups compared with the levels in the PBS-treated group. The AqH was pooled from one eye of five rats in each group. The data are expressed as the mean ± SD ( compared with the PBS-treated group; # compared with the normal group; & compared with the low-dose group by Kruskal-Wallis test with post hoc Dunn test; for each group in each time point).
