Carbon Monoxide Inhibits Tenascin-C Mediated Inflammation via IL-10 Expression in a Septic Mouse Model

LPS increases TN-C expression in a time- and dose-dependent manner in RAW 264.7 macrophages. Cells were treated with 100 ng/mL LPS for 0, 1, 4, and 8 h and (a) mRNA expression of TN-C was detected by Real Time RT-PCR and (b) TN-C protein expression was measured by Western blotting. Cells were treated with LPS for 8 h (0, 1, 10, 100, and 1000 ng/mL). Harvested cells were subjected to (c) mRNA and (d) protein analysis for TN-C. Representative bands are shown.
