HMC were stimulated for 20 h with cytokines, cytokines plus dexamethasone, or vehicle. Following stimulation, the medium was aspirated and the cells were stimulated for 5 min at 20°C with 20 M PGH₂ in phosphate buffered saline. The spontaneous decay of PGH₂ in aqueous solution from a control experiment was considered. The figure consists of the mean of three experiments ± SEM.
