The test did not show any intergroup differences. (b) (scatter plot) depicts serum adiponectin levels before and after GT in patients. Pairwise comparison of patients (before versus after GT) by Wilcoxon signed rank test showed significantly higher levels of adiponectin before GT for the whole group (). For smokers (black dots) and nonsmokers (open circles) statistics see the plot legend. All together 32 dots represent 64 measurements; each dot belongs to one patient.
