Resveratrol Protects against Sepsis-Associated Encephalopathy and Inhibits the NLRP3/IL-1β Axis in Microglia

Figure 5

In vitro assay of the inhibitory effect of resveratrol on inflammasome activation in BV2 cells. BV2 immunoblots of NLRP3, caspase-1 and IL-1β, in the presence and absence of resveratrol. All blots have been normalized to β-actin. Control cells were stimulated with ATP (100 μM) alone, while LPS cells were stimulated with both ATP and LPS (100 ng/mL). Res1 cells were treated with higher dose of resveratrol (30 μM), in the presence of ATP and LPS. Res2 cells were treated with lower dose of resveratrol (15 μM), in the presence of both ATP and LPS. compared with control group, compared with LPS group, and compared with Res1 group, by one-way ANOVA and LSD tests. Bars represent the mean ± SD.
